Terms of Service

These terms govern the relationship between Agri Irrigation Tanzania Ltd. and clients who engage our services. Please read them carefully before accepting a quotation.
1. Services Offered
Agri Irrigation Tanzania Ltd. provides irrigation system design, supply, and installation services including drip irrigation, sprinkler systems, HDPE geomembrane liner installation, greenhouse construction, artificial dam construction, fish pond setup, and related maintenance services.
2. Quotations
All quotations issued by Agri Irrigation are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing. A quotation does not constitute a contract. A binding agreement is formed only upon written acceptance of the quotation by the client and confirmation from Agri Irrigation.
3. Project Scope & Variations
The agreed scope of work is as described in the accepted quotation. Any changes requested by the client after work has commenced may result in additional costs and revised timelines. All scope variations must be agreed in writing before implementation.
4. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for ensuring safe, unobstructed site access for our teams and equipment throughout the project. The client must provide accurate information about the site, water source, and intended use. Delays or additional costs resulting from inaccurate information or restricted access are the client's responsibility.
5. Payment Terms
Payment terms are as specified in the project quotation. Standard terms are a deposit before commencement and the balance upon completion unless otherwise agreed. Agri Irrigation reserves the right to suspend work if payments are not received in accordance with agreed terms.
6. Materials & Substitutions
We supply materials and equipment from trusted manufacturers. Where a specified product is unavailable, we may substitute an equivalent product of equal or greater specification. We will notify the client of any material substitutions in advance.
7. Workmanship Warranty
We provide a 12-month workmanship warranty from the date of project handover covering defects arising from our installation work. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, vandalism, natural disasters, or failure to follow maintenance guidance provided at handover. Product warranties are as provided by the respective manufacturers.
8. Limitation of Liability
Agri Irrigation's liability under these terms is limited to the value of the specific project or service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses including crop failure, lost agricultural income, or third-party claims arising from system performance after handover.
9. Intellectual Property
All designs, drawings, and technical documentation prepared by Agri Irrigation remain our intellectual property unless explicitly transferred in writing. Clients are granted a licence to use these documents for the specific project only.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or any project agreement shall first be pursued through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tanzania.
11. Updates to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The current version will always be published at this URL. Terms applicable to a specific project are those in effect at the time the quotation is accepted.
